FAQ

It's important to upload images that represent you best as well as fitting with a certain quality we try to maintain at OMP.  You should not upload images of bad quality like selfies, cell phone shots, blurry, or pixelated images.

When uploading images please remember that OneModelPlace.com is a community of teens as well as adults and as such ALL adult oriented content is not appropriate here (including Hustler style, or sexually explicit images, images showing spread genitalia, images involving sexual instruments, scenes depicting sex or extreme subjects etc.).  We will delete all images we consider inappropriate, and if you continue trying to post such images it may be cause for suspending your profile.

Also, do not upload images whose copyright you do not own, or have no permission from the copyright holder.

  • The amount of images you can upload on your portfolio depends on your membership level. Please check the current limits on the membership level page.
  • You are able to upload multiple images at once.
  • The maximum image size that can be uploaded is 8MB. The image uploader can be slow with large images though. It's best to size down your images to under 3MB before uploading them.
  • Images that are out of specification in dimension will be resized by keeping the format 16:9 with a maximum size of pixel 1920 x 1200. This way we can offer an almost High Definition quality of all images on the site.
  • We ask you to upload images no smaller than 400 x 600 pixels, preferably at least 500 x 750, and recommend that you save your images as JPEG format (.jpg).

Be sure to follow the above recommendations before you upload images.

  • Login to OMP
  • Click on “Upload Images”
  • Select one or more images from your computer
  • Click each image to publish it and add additional information such as rating, category, etc. by using the interface that appears on both sides of your screen

Glamour nudity and artistic nudity are wonderful art forms.  They have and always will be very welcome on this site. They often show a model's or photographer's range and interest and are often a deciding factor in a photographer's decision to work with a model or not, and vice-versa. So it's fine to have nude images as part of a portfolio.

At the same time, some forms of nudity are not acceptable here.  See the FAQ section on "Which pictures should not be uploaded" for more on this topic.

Remember to RATE your images appropriately. ALL images involving ANY form of nudity or see-through should ALWAYS be rated R. Light Fetish and Bondage images are subject to approval, and must also ALWAYS be rated R. Check out our Image Guidelines before uploading.

Cancel Paid Subscription: For security purposes, please write us on cs@onemodelplace.com to cancel your membership.

Administrators will change the rating of an image if necessary.  Some members mistakenly rate an image outside the guidelines, while others seem to wilfully ignore the guidelines. If you have repeatedly or intentionally mis-rated images that should have been rated “R”, One Model Place may restrict your possibility to upload any further photos or may even suspend your account.

This is due to uploaded content which is contrary to OMP Image Guidelines. If this is the case, you will receive an email from the administration with steps on how to resolve this issue. Please be sure to reply directly to the administrator who contacted you.

Allow a minimum of five days for our administrators to review and approve your portfolio. Portfolios cannot be approved if they don't contain the minimum required images, or if any of the information is inaccurate or missing. Make sure to follow the rules in our Terms and Conditions to avoid any delays on the approval process. If you believe you have entered the correct information, a minimum of 100 words about yourself and uploaded at least the minimum number images required (4) and still don't get approved, please contact us.

Members who do not follow the terms in our Terms and Conditions will have their portfolio blocked, either temporarily or permanently. In most cases, portfolios that were blocked may be reinstated once the member follows the instructions provided by the administration. These instructions are provided in the form of an email, and are sent on a case-by-case basis.

We select images of exceptional quality as Showcase images.  Although there's some subjectivity to this process, we try to feature images that demonstrate high standards in technical skill, creativity, subject matter, composition, lighting and other elements of a good image.  Currently, there is no way to nominate or submit an image for consideration. Uploading images often will increase your changes or being awarded a Showcase image.

Our image uploading software is extremely efficient at optimizing images so that they look great and load fast. However, it does have it's limitations. The software does require that your images be 72 DPI in resolution.  In Adobe® Photoshop®, you can change the DPI with the following steps:

  1. Open your image by going to File > Open
  2. Select Image > Image Size
  3. While making sure that the "Resample Image" checkbox is unchecked, change the Resolution field to "72." Make sure that the drop down menu to the right of the Resolution field is set to "pixels/inch."
  4. Click File > Save Image for Web and select jpg or png file format to save your image.

It’s important that you rate all images you upload and do so accurately. Although it can be a bit subjective in deciding how to rate an image, we try to follow certain basic guidelines in rating images.

If an image involves nudity—baring of private parts to any extent—or has a strongly sexual content, we ask you to rate it R.  Images that go beyond artistic or glamour style nudity are not permitted at all.  See the FAQ section on “Which pictures should not be uploaded at all” for more specific guidelines on this topic.

Images that are revealing and somewhat sexually suggestive without exposing private parts usually fall in the category of PG.  For example, a female model who is topless but covering her nipples (sometimes called “implied topless”) falls under the PG category.  Likewise, clothing or poses that give a sexually suggestive quality to the image would make the image PG.  Images that are fetish in style but not restricted in other ways could also be PG.

Everything else would be G rated. This includes most fashion, swimwear, casual and even many lingerie images that are mainstream in terms of exposure.

Check with our staff if you need further guidance.

It's very important to select an appropriate category for your image, one that best describes the style of the image or its intent.  Most of the categories are self-explanatory.  See Showcase galleries for a representative group of images in a specific category.

If you don't choose a category, the image probably won't show up on your profile.  Choosing a category also helps to determine if your image is eligible for a Showcase Award, although we will sometimes change the category if we think the image is better suited to a different category and deserves recognition in that category.
